My heart is hidden from my eyes
in a place that is a mystery to me.
An organ that varies in size,
due to conditions that may not be
on what we should rely
for a life of quality.
From one day to another
I knew the dare to dream
that Jesus held my heart
as He whispered love to me
in a way that I'd forgotten
but truly did believe.
His love is healing water
nurturing and divine.
My faithfulness to love Him
never wavered through this time
as His faithfulness to love me
shows the heart of a heavenly kind.

@Lucy_or_Ethel - Thank you so much! I welcome you to my circle whether you're Lucy or Ethel!!!
@Richgem - Sometimes I am the zany Lucy and at other times I am the more timid and hesitant Ethel. Both dwell within this shell called Nancy. I certainly enjoy your pictures and your writing. We have 8 grandchildren from our 3 children and their spouses. We've been married 46 years.
Dear, dear Gail, We were gone 18 days as we DROVE (never thought I could sit that long) to CO. to help our children prepare the home where they will be moving. I had no idea you were in the hospital. I just saw this reading today as xanga digest came to my inbox this morning. How I pray for a good report for you. I'll daily check your xanga posting to see how you are doing. Your heart expressions are so beautiful as I again read what you sent to us today. I will trust Him along with you.
