You know how it feels. Life whacks you upside the head. OUCH. Your heart hurts, head hurts, stomach hurts. You have a good cry, sometimes only after a dear friend (and you know who you are) encourages you to do so. You think 'til you can think no more. You pray and think some more until finally, you are SPENT. So today I went outside and did what always helps me heal: snapped, with my Nikon. ( 8

I LOVE that upper-left hibiscus shot! It really epitomizes the "spent" feeling! And the blue flower is lovely too! Glad you had a good cry -- and glad you feel enough stronger to get out and play with the camera! (((Hugs)))
Awww...the medicinal use of your camera. Works for me.
As always, love the pix. So glad you we able to have a good cry and jump back out to snap your beautiful pictures.
Good camera, good pictures -- good medicine!!
I love my digital Camera & those days like that.
I was reading your post below about your Dad, & then your brother. So sorry you have had to live with those things in your life & pray that the reunion with your dad has given you inner peace. I feel so sad for your brother. God heals broken hearts. & even behind prison bars he too can walk those hallways. I have read & heard of many convicts who have served years inside those walls & have found Christ, after all in there all they have is time. I have a cousin whom I haven't seen since he was about 11 years old he spent most of his life in prison for various crimes, I know that most of his dealings were because of his upbringing, his family was very disfunctional more than the norm. I think after 30 something years he is finally out but is restrained to a certain area. We don't speak, I don't even know if he or I would recognize one another. Its very sad, but happens in a lot of families all we can do is give it to our Heavenly Father and trust that all will be ok.
Gail you are in my prayers...hugs sweet friend
~Linda~
hey there Gail! sending a hug your way! praying that your head and heart can be as comforted and comfy looking as your feet do in those shoes!
Hi Gail; those are great shots...and I lllooovvveeeee the crocs. Warm, cozy and comfortable!! Praying for you.
I prayed for you and your brother with my prayer partner the other night. Praying that God will capture his heart and protect him. We had a friend that fell into Alcohol and after DUI's and a bad accident was sentenced to 7 years! He served about 6 years, and was pretty sad the whole time, but did make it through, and is doing really well now for 2 years.
Love to you friend!
