JuSt a qUiCKie…
Our little old Jeepster got a bit of a dusting of powdered sugar from heaven yesterday. This morning, there’s alot more. I love this snow because it makes me feel more Christmasy. I haven’t been feeling it aaat ALL, so anything like this will help! I don’t know what I’d do without my camera to zoom in on bits and bunches of beauty here and there! And what would I do, where would I be if it wasn’t for God’s love burrowing into my heart and soul?

Very nice entry my friend. Yes indeed, where would we be without “God’s love burrowing into my heart and soul?” Cameras certainly help us to concentrate on the beauty around us doesn’t it! Very nice photo.
Beautiful, Gail — although I don’t envy you the snow! It’s WINDY here again today, and will be off and on through the weekend!
@Lucy_or_Ethel - Thank you! And you are one of my friends who delights me with wonderful photos to look at!
@slmret - I do get concerned for you and our friends over there with that crazy, awful wind! Hugs from me to you!
@Richgem - It’s been nasty here — we’re far enough from the foothills that we don’t get the worst of the winds coming off the hills, but they’ve been stronger here than I remember for a good number of years (they are saying these are the worst we’ve had for 10 years). We did get enough the other day to fell at least one tree in the neighborhood, though (it fell across a road). I’m trying to stay inside during the worst of it
.
Powdered sugar from Heaven, what a delightful way to put that..it does indeed look like PS…makes me want to go eat something!!! I think we would be cold on the inside and sometimes on the outside as well….God has a way of giving us that warm fuzzy feeling; that sense of security is so welcoming, I don’t know how those who are not saved deal with all of life’s issues and the trials that we are brought to. I really enjoyed your picture.
I am jealous!!! We had a little bit of a dusting the other night…but we are waiting for a big snow!
The past few years we have already had a big snowstorm by now. Today it’s been raining all day…if it were just a few degrees cooler it would be snowing!!!
Your picture looks Christmasy…and I like your jeep.
Hope you’re having a great weekend now that you’re a little bit more in the Christmas mood. =)
such a good pic! We had snow this week too, just a good morning of it then it was gone by noon. However some stuck to the sides of trees for most of the day which made it still pretty outside. I like those snows. You have the “prettiness” of winter but without the hassle of INCHES or FEET of snow. They are long enough in duration you can sit and watch with a cup of coffee or something.
Like the : powdered sugar from heaven.
the snow is so beautiful! It’s quite cold and rainy here today. I think if it gets cold the least it could do would be to snow!
It doesn’t seem to work that way though
@Missionfieldof5 - I completely agree with you! And God does give us that warm fuzzy feeling…what a source of comfort!
@Elizabethmarie_1 - Hey, Cutie! Well, I’d send you some, but I have a feeling you’ll get dumped on soon. I mean, it just seems like you SHOULD get snow! As for the Christmas mood, it’s coming around! We have our tree in the house. Now to decorate. And soooon, my girl will be home from college fo rthe Christmas break. She brings a whole other whirlwind of life into the house. That will more than compensate for what’s not happening.
@victoriantomboy - I’m with you on that one. SNow that looks pretty and then melts…that way you’re not stuck at home if you need to get out! Our roads weren’t plowed and everything iced over badly! I can’t wait for it all to melt and dry up!
@redladybug18 - Has it ever snowed in your area? Just wondering if my girl will need a heavier jacket when she goes back after Christmas!
@Richgem - well it rarely snows-the last few years it’s been once a year-but it doesn’t last long and usually it’s gone by noon of that day. Last year we got the most snow I’d ever seen, like 5 inches and it actually stayed over night but by the end of the second day it was all gone. The lowest temp we ever have is like in the teens and that’s rare. So hopefully that gives you an idea.
