My Day With The elf!
This was something to do to keep me busy and allow my silliness to eek out a bit. He saw me do a few dishes. He wanted to be involved. He happily sat on my daughter’s freshly made bed. He was so excited to hear she and her brother are coming home soon that he got spastic and ended up in the chandelier. Then he wanted to take over a few pictures of his own. He needs lessons. His foot is in all of the shots he took. After all of our activities, he became exhausted and laid down for a little nap under his favorite tree.

He’s been quite the ADD elf, hasn’t he? Kind of like my dog Sadie, she runs until she collapses on the floor. He should sleep gppd tonight! Maybe our elves can have a play date lunch, just make sure he brings his own marinate.

@WildWomanOfTheWest - Yes, he’s quite ADD. We all are! I’m surprised I didn’t collapse under a tree! hee-hee. We”ll BOTH sleep well tonight! And tomorrow, I may take him on my photoshoot so he can learn how to handle my Nikon properly. Or handle himSELF properly! He would love a Lunch Play Date with your Elf. His favorite marinate would be honey and peanut butter and salt and pepper. I’d better check the Skippy and make sure there’s enough left. { ; Oh yes, that chandelier. It’s in my daughter’s room. It was a nice splurge for her.

@slmret - Yes, Elf was pretty helpful, although he made more work for me when I had to wipe the chandelier dust off of his belly. I’m looking forward to another fun, busy day tomorrow! I think HE is, too! SO much to do!
I think we’re the only house in America without an elf on the shelf…I may have to get one of those!
