  • A Nippy Morning

DSC00116 This is a very wintery morning! The angels got out the powdered sugar and got a little silly with it because it is all over our yard! I am glad, though. It makes me feel like Christmas really is almost here! May we know what real comfort and joy is through knowing who Jesus IS!

  • What a beautiful picture, the stark contrast of the snow and the budding (or is it closed up?) flower. Each day as we get closer to the special day and I see those around me getting caught up in the "frenzy" of the gift exchange, I try NOT to let myself do the same and center my thinking on Christ....it's not easy when those around me (at work) don't give Christ a second thought...it's so nice when I can be around Christians who KNOW why we are celebrating--in Him is the real joy and comfort! Blessings to you Gail as Christmas approaches. Love Dawne

  • Thank you for sharing this. I love your analogy "powdered sugar".  God Bless, Sharon

  • What a wonderful image of the angels sprinkling powdered sugar!  And a lovely photo image to go with it...

  • @DawneElla - Thank you! I'm glad you're trying not to get caught up in the frenzy... and that you have the peace of knowing what Christmas really is! Have a great weekend!! love, Gail

  • @SingingMom - I hope you're having a good day! And Beautiful to you,too! love, Gail

  • @justhopingnow - Thanks, Sharon! The funny thing about that powdered sugar is, it MELTS! And underneath, in the front yard anyway, is "chocolate"! I have to look at things on the bright side, otherwise I'd go nuts. love, Gail

  • @slmret - Thank you so much! I also have a picture of my little pink flower in the snow, which I should post. I was thrilled that the pictures turned out so well, after so many attempts to get a really good one! I envy all of you photographers who seem to just know how to get a whole stream of great shots!!! Have a fabulous weekend! love, Gail
