  • Hope With Daddy

Down the campground road he ran

    with his grownup feet'

    his fatherly grin

    this race,

    at his little girl's pace

    so that in her heart

    she believed she could win.

    The gravel on the bend

    was soft,

    so he fell.

    She could tell

it no longer mattered who'd win,

    but that together

    they could begin again.

  • Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww ~ sweeeeeeet!!!

  • @Neeka1 - Thank you, Necia! I only wish I could've gotten the picture of my Dad on there! I'm still having problems getting pictures off of the Xanga "photo manager" and onto my blog! Irritating! At least Xanga allowed my poem to go on!

  • @Richgem - Download the 'Xanga Uploader' ~ that seems to be the only way I can get my pics onto xanga at the moment.

  • so precious~ I want to copy this one down!

I don't know what's been up w/ xanga uploading pictures~ I've been having a terrible time the last few posts (?) Maybe it's time for us all to move to blogger!!! ;)

    Happy Tuesday friend.

    love & hugs.

  • @Hutch5 - Thanks, Amber! Yep, time to just move to blogger. You'll find me at elmbeetlehill.blogspot. I blog under Bits From Gail's Haven. I ended up with two spots out of sheer confusion! I guess I could do another blog on elm... to keep that going. Anyway, I really need to do my orange photo challenge. And then I have some pictures that I took at a wedding on Saturday that I'd like to show. It'll all go on either elmbeetlehill or Bits...Love ya! GAil
