What a week it's been! Once you declare war on the enemy, hah! The enemy gears up and throws a punch or two or three. But guess what. I have my armour on and will not put up with the nonsense! God's almighty power is free and available and I'm claiming it to take on this crazyness. One thing that keeps me grounded instead of hysterical is going out to take pictures. I enjoy GOD'S creation and there is a beautiful feeling I get when I can be out there in it, observing up close or from far away. When Hubby is with me, it's even better. So, I'll post a few pictures here and  you can get a glimpse of where we live.

  • Love the pictures, especially the one of you and your hubby    The "angry" sky picture is amazing.

  • Amen!!!!!  Keep that armour on girl!!!!!  Standing with you!  Awesome pics!!!!

  • Those are beautiful, Gail!  But I'll stay here in the winter -- it's much warmer!

  • Amen, and keep on  soldiering for the Lord!  I like that picture of you and your hubby, and all the snowy pictures!

  • I love the first picture. And it was me, not you!! LOL

  • @oldfatgramma - @Neeka1 - @slmret - @ABAHM - @jans_corner - Thank you everyone! Yep, soldiering on!

  •  I didn't realize you guys had such cold weather!  When I hear Arizona, I just think HOT.  The pictures are really nice, the one of you and your husband is cute.  What is that building?  I'm guessing it's not a picture of your front yard!  haha.

  • LOL! Yep, it's pretty nippy here; we get the extremes. It can be as cold as 12 at night in winter and 105 on a summer day. Ugh. But that's better than blistering Phoenix. The building is our courthouse. Yeah, NOT my front yard!!! ( 8

  • Oh I love that picture of you and your honey, Gail. I agree about the enemy. I consented to talk to our youth girls tomorrow evening....and it's like distractions all around me today. I know where it is coming from! If you think of me tomorrow evening about 7:30, please pray for me. My lesson is encouraging them to use their spiritual gift.

Years ago a friend encouraged me to put the  armor on, daily. So I do that each morning when I have my quiet time. Sometimes I think it has slipped off during the day!!!! ~Blessings

  • thanks for sharing the beauty around you- in all seasons and colors. thanks for focusing on what is good and kind and beautiful despite the storms comin' at ya! love ya lots cous'- NanC

  • you look so sweet and pretty in the shot with your hubby.

sending an extra WARM hug your way today...

    love~

  • Oooo!!! I like the court house trees!! Beautiful!

  • Beautiful shots Gail...You are such a handsome couple. :  )

We have to keep our eyes on Jesus right? : )

  • @threejoys - Cordy, I prayed for you specifically on Wednesday night, during the night. I hope your time with the young girls was good and that they will all discover what their gift is and what they have a passion for. I thought of you again this morning as I read (again) about the armour. The breastplate of righteousness really caught my interest like never before. Take care, dear girl!

  • @NewsyNancy - Oh, Nance, you know how hard it is sometimes for me to focus on what is good! I've had quite the storm going on with teenage stuff and leaders who don't have our higher standards and then throw in the element of the enemy!  Fortunately, Rich and I are strong together, yes, even through the remodel. All of that brought us closer, which is good because of what we're dealing with now. At times I do feel beaten, but I will not lay down in defeat. Because, WE are the victorious ones in the end! Love ya, Girl!

  • @Hutch5 - Thank you, Amber! I'm a huggy person and will take a hug of any kind, any time! I know you're a thoughtful, caring person who likes to express your love to people. Just relax and rest in that gift that God put inside of you and don't keep feeling like you have to explain or justify your reasons for being who you are and how He made you!  I'm thankful for you!

  • @JDMsWife - Tara, my Dearie! Thank you for the mini! You are awesome, too! You would've loved seeing the snow around the courthouse! Everything looked and smelled so clean and adults and children were all over the place, building snowmen and snow things and taking pictures and videos...it was fun! and invigorating! Hugs from me...

  • Gail, you are a sweetheart. Thank you so very much for praying. About 20 minutes before I needed to speak I got really nervous . I then imagined my hand held up and tightly clasping my Father's hand to relax. I love the verse, "My soul clings to You, Your right hand upholds me." I probably told you that before but that is what I repeated over and over. I was really encouraged afterwards as some of the  girls  expressed their appreciation and others asked questions about the subject. The study was so good for me. I saw areas where I  have become lax and I need to change that. Just really appreciate that you brought me to our Father. ~Blessings

  • @threejoys - Hi Cordy!  I love that you did feel nervous because it brought out your need to focus on your Father's hand clasping yours! And not only was everything fine, you received appreciation and interest! I'm sure HE is well pleased! Hugs to you!    (  :
