  • A Prize!

This is what you get when you're a good little boy, sitting still for a haircut! My grandson seemed so tickled that he got a prize after his haircut...he had 2 other gumballs in his pocket and it seemed like this was the ultimate treasure! I know the feeling. HE is a treasure to me!

  • He is adorable! Blessings for a wonderful week.

  • What a charmer...hide him away until he is 40!  What a handsome little guy!

  • You must squeeze him a lot !

  • He's so cute, such pretty blue eyes.

My boys and I were talking a few days ago about haircuts. They used to go to an old barber, but now my husband cuts their hair.  When they would go to the barber, he would give them a sucker at the end of their haircut, so they wanted to know if they could go back to him!  I told them with what we're saving on haircuts, I'll buy each of them their own bag for every haircut my husband gives them and we'd still be saving money!

Hope you have a great week. =)

  • He is way too cute..........a real treasure!

  • @buana - @betheelou - @ABAHM - @oldfatgramma - He IS a charmer and I can't help but squeeze him. He's such a nice boy, and our life will be more special with him and his precious family living only 20 minutes away as of this weekend! A blessed week, this is!

  • That is so great that they will be so close!! I know what a blessing that will be...both ways!

  • @Elizabethmarie_1 - I love that you told your boys you'd buy them their own bag of suckers for every haircut! I don't know how often Josiah will get to go to the barber, but he definately will want more gum from now on! He's been very responsible with it, not swallowing it or sticking it to anything. And he isn't noisy with it either! Such a proper little man!

  • @ABAHM - Yes! A HUGE blessing both ways! My daughter-in-love asked,  "So what are you guys gonna do now that we'll be living here?" Hubby and I both laughed and he told her, "We're moving down to the valley!" He's SO facetious! We had a good laugh. We'll be busier in a different way; our life will be full with helping Jonathan and Tara and just plain loving on them all on a regular basis! YAY!

  • @Richgem - That is a real blessing.  I feel the same way about Matthew living only about 10 minutes from us.  On the other hand, I had to leave my sweet granddaughters behind when I moved here.  (we used to live only minutes from them and saw the girls everyday) A trade off I know but one a gramma's heart hates to make!

  • @oldfatgramma - Oh, it must've been dreadful to leave the girls! But it's great that you have Matt and you can bless your readers with what he says and does! ( :
